Deadbolt locked or unlocked by key from exterior or by interior turn piece. Both pieces have dual option latch which includes: 1/4 In. round corner and 1 In. circular drive-in latch, adjustable for 2-3/8 In. or 2-3/4 In. backsets. Strike: 1/4 In. round corner deadbolt strike and 1/4 In. round full-lip strike. Hardened steel pin in latch bolt provides added protection against sawing attack. 1 In. door preparation required for latch bolt while 2-1/8 In. required for deadbolt cross bore.
